FILIPINO FESTIVALS

The fiesta is part and bundle of Filipino culture. Through good times and bad times, the fiesta must go on. Each city and barrio has at least one local festival of its own, usually on the feast of its patron saint, so that there is always a fiesta going on somewhere in the country. But the major and most elaborate festival of all is Christmas, a season celebrated with all the display and show the fun-loving Filipino can handle.

we have different celebrations here in the philippines, we have the different festivals like dinagyang, ati-atihan, bambanti and so on which celebrated in different parts of the philippines, every provinces and municipalities has its own festival which shows the different cultures and traditions of the place.

the philippines also celebrates the feast of the patron saint in every parishes, the largest and most celebrated patronal fiesta is the feast of the Black Nazarene. a patronal fiesta is the way we give thanks to our patron saints for praying for us and showering us more blessings
